Every gift, one-off or monthly, directly funds NGO Tidène's projects in the Agadez region: water, schools, women's cooperatives, agriculture, health. Nearly all of your donation goes to the field (the French team is volunteer-based). Tax deduction: 66% for individuals, 70% for businesses (corporate giving) — French taxpayers only.

Monthly donation by direct debit

A well costs between €10,000 and €40,000.
And six months of work.

€10,000 for a market-garden well · €25,000 for a village or pastoral well · €40,000 for a complete system (solar borehole + water tower + mini-distribution).

Your monthly commitment, debited automatically, lets us plan long-term — school maintenance, cooperative training, infrastructure follow-up. It's what makes the difference between a one-off gift and a 20-year presence.

Why give monthly?

A monthly gift, even a small one, allows us to plan for the long term — maintenance of existing infrastructure, ongoing training for cooperatives, follow-up of schools, salaries of teachers on the ground.

Monthly gifts are automatically debited each month (via HelloAsso, secure payment). You can pause or change your gift any time from your donor account.

That's the difference between a one-off donation and a 20-year presence.

Three alternatives to online giving

For donors who prefer another channel:

  • Donation by check : made out to "Les Puits du Désert", sent to our registered office (BP 09, 74450 Le Grand-Bornand, France). Tax receipt sent in return.
  • Bank transfer : IBAN on request via the contact form. Ideal for large gifts.
  • Bequests and legacies : include Les Puits du Désert in your estate planning. Contact Armelle de Roton for the details.

What tax deduction do donors get?

Les Puits du Désert is a public-interest nonprofit. French taxpayers benefit from a 66% income tax deduction on the amount donated, up to 20% of taxable income. A €30 donation therefore costs €10.20 after deduction.

Will I receive a tax receipt?

Yes, automatically. HelloAsso generates your tax receipt in PDF for each donation, or at year-end for monthly gifts. You can download it from your donor account or receive it by email.

Can I cancel or change my monthly donation?

At any time, free of charge, from your HelloAsso account. No commitment. You can also contact us via the contact form if you need help.

Are your accounts audited?

Yes, annual accounts published each year, certified by our statutory auditor. See the Financials page to download the PDFs.

Can I make a one-off donation instead of monthly?

Of course. The HelloAsso widget offers both options. Monthly giving is what helps us most to plan over the long term — well maintenance, cooperative training, follow-up.
